Yesterday, Year 2 were lucky enough to have a visit from Tweedale fire service. They talked to us about the importance of fire safety. They also allowed us to sit inside the fire engine – the children loved pretending to be real firefighters. It was lovely to hear so many of the children talking with their friends about how they now want to be firefighters when they’re older – what a lovely aspiration!
